Somewhere between 12:30 am and 2:30 this am we lost our beloved Shih Tzu, Ling Ching. She was an old girl and I suspect she had cancer, but I can't say for sure. She was just a very sweet, timid dog. Her companion, Taipei (another Shih Tzu), has been moping about the house all morning, looking for her friend. I know she's in a much better place and knows that we miss her and love her. I hope she's telling all the others pets we've lost how much we miss them every day.
About an hour a beautiful bouquet of all-white flowers was delivered to the house. I have one of the bestest friends, as well as a co-worker, one could ever have. That was just so very thoughtful of her.
